To use weclapp on your mobile device, log into your weclapp system in the browser of your phone or tablet like Firefox, Chrome or Safari. You can access weclapp the same way you would on your desktop.
You can access weclapp with the same URL, using the same credentials everywhere. You have access to all your data and the full functionality. This is an advantage over the previous Android and iOS apps, which only offered a subset of functionality. The navigation and page layouts of the web app adapt to small screens and touch interactions in many places. Some don’t work as well as on the desktop – we focused on the most important functions for mobile use.
Android and iOS weclapp apps are not supported from July 1st, 2022
We have stopped developing and supporting our native weclapp apps for Android and iOS from July 1st, 2022. From this date, they are not available anymore on Google Play and the App Store. You can continue using your installed app as before, but you can’t re-install the app or receive updates.
To continue using weclapp on mobile devices, use our web app. The de-publication of the apps does not affect your data, your log-in credentials or your licenses.
The native apps offered only a subset of the webapp’s full weclapp functionality. User numbers were low, so we decided to focus our development resources in other areas. Because of that, the apps were missing useful new features introduced to the web app in the meantime. We de-published the two apps to save our users frustration over the increasing gap, and to reduce complexity, and support effort.
Mobile logistics app
For logistics work in warehouses, we offer a specialized mobile logistics app (German article) that you can access in a browser, or install. The app is optimized for input with a barcode scanner. It focuses on facilitating and accelerating warehouse processes like picking, incoming goods, returns and internal transport.
